ITINERARY:
1st
Day: STRASBOURG – KOBLENZ
Departure by coach
from Strasbourg (river mooring, 3bis rue du Havre) at 8h. Arrival in
Koblenz around 12h30. Lunch in a restaurant. Boarding around 14h and
settling into your cabin. In the afternoon, tour of the old town in the
company of your hostess. Back on board and dinner. Free evening in
Koblenz. Chance to board around 18h.
2nd
Day: KOBLENZ – RUDESHEIM
Breakfast during the
cruise. Cruise up the most beautiful section of the Romantic Rhine
between Koblenz and Rudesheim. We will pass numerous castles nestling
in the famed vineyards and the celebrated Rock of the Lorelei. Arrival
in Rudesheim around 16h. Free time or optional tour, departure in a
small train stopping at a wine tasting cellar*, followed by a visit to
the museum of mechanical music. Lunch and dinner will be taken on
board. In the evening, the famous Drosselgasse awaits you with its
numerous cafés and bands.
3rd
Day: RUDESHEIM – MANNHEIM OR SPIRE
Departure of the boat
early in the morning to cruise up the Rhine to Spire. Lunch on board.
We will pass the towns of Wiesbaden, Nierstein, Worms and Mannheim.
Optional excursion to Heidelberg with tour of the city and the castle.
Stopover in Spire or Mannheim depending on berths available at the
wharf. Arrival around 18h, gala evening and dinner.
4th
Day: SPIRE OR MANNHEIM – STRASBOURG
Breakfast on board
.Arrival in Strasbourg around 9.00am (3 rue du Havre). End of our
journey.
